If you’re a regular visitor, you may have noticed that our site looks a bit different. To our new visitors, thank you for visiting and welcome to SelectAccount.com. We’ve redesigned our website to help make it easier for you to find the information you’re looking for and to give you a better user experience while you’re visiting SelectAccount.com.
More information. Simple navigation. Convenient account access.
Our main objective with the site redesign was to make it easier for you to find the information you’re looking for and to make it convenient for you to access and manage your spending account. We wanted to make sure that we made it simple for you to find the items you’re looking for, so we redesigned the site to display content in any easy-to-navigate format. Find the information you’re looking for faster with the new introduction of a site search function and use this site to stay up-to-date with the latest health care updates.
Stay tuned. We’re still tweaking.
Despite the big changes we’ve recently implemented, we’re not completely finished polishing the new website yet. We are currently redesigning the experience for our members when they sign in to access their account information. Plus, we are building new sites for our employers and agents with tools and resources to better administer their accounts. The system is a continuous work in progress and there are a number of improvements on the way, all intended to make your experience at SelectAccount.com more convenient.
Important browser changes.
One of the significant changes we’ve made while redesigning our site is that we no longer support Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 (IE6). We made this decision based on widely accepted industry standards, insights from leading web designers and the growing expectations clients have with regards to how websites should function.
Here are a few reasons to illustrate how we came to the decision to no longer support IE6:
- IE6 is almost 10 years old and generally outdated.
- IE6 is one of the biggest causes of incorrect website displays.
- IE6 is not a web standards compliant browser. When a website is built to web standards, many of the advanced features will not function as expected, if at all, in IE6.
- Implementing websites that display accurately in IE6 often requires more time and resources and that only increases as a website becomes more graphically and functionally complex—naturally, this is not a desirable outcome for our customers.
- Microsoft has already ended support for many of its IE6 iterations and plans to completely discontinue IE6 for good at the impending end of the Windows XP lifecycle.
- Microsoft recommends that all users avoid using IE6 and upgrade to any other modern browser available, even if it isn’t Internet Explorer.
How can you upgrade your browser?
If you’re still using IE6, you can upgrade to any of these browsers for free. Downloads are easy and only take a few minutes of your time—just follow the download prompts for any of the following available browsers:
